Our Story
At Akresbytheriver, spread over 23 acres, we believe in sustainable farming practises that prioritize the health of our soil and the well-being of our animals. We work hard to produce high-quality, chemical-free produce and invite everyone to our small world. We are blessed with beautiful natural elements and a pristine location, and an invigorating mix of nourishment for the body and the soul. We are beginning a journey, and would love to have you along the way.
Farm Tours
Come visit Akresbytheriver Farm and experience the beauty of our working farm. We offer guided tours that showcase our farming methods and encourage visitors to get their hands dirty and experience the joy of growing and building. You'll have the opportunity to learn about sustainable agriculture and the importance of small-scale farming. You'll also have the opportunity to take a dip in our beautiful Thenpennayaru river, walk our trails, climb our hills, and discover hidden century-old gems, share our local, simple food (barbecues anyone?), relax at our peaceful and beautiful spots, enjoy a bonfire and experience camping by the water.
Volunteer Opportunities
Interested in learning more about sustainable agriculture and getting your hands dirty? We offer volunteer opportunities throughout the year, where you can work alongside our farmers and learn about the day-to-day operations of our farm. It's a great way to give back to your community and learn new skills.
